Emtone support a number of good causes projects each year that, without our help, would not exist.

Emtone recognises the often very significant commitments that many individuals, businesses and other organisations direct towards causes that they deem important - and while, as a boutique printer, our own ability to engage on a financial level is of course constrained, we do have resources available that can offer an important contribution to causes we too find worthy of our support.

To this end, we have decided to work with The English Group - an agency involved with good causes projects on an international level - to support one project every year in each of the humanitarian, arts and environmental or conservation sectors.

The following projects are those that we are proud to have contributed to in 2008/2009:

We are especially proud to have worked with Annie Lennox to launch her SING Campaign to raise awareness of the effects of AIDS on women and children in South Africa.

Emtone has contributed materially towards the costs of production of all event literature - including tickets, menus, event announcement leaflet, and a prestige 72pp event publication - for the National Portrait Gallery's 2009 'Portrait Gala', which is to host an auction and dinner to raise funds to underwrite the creation of educational resources to be made available to every school in the UK.

Emtone has also contributed material support for the Soil Association's '2008 Case For Support' brochure to underpin fund-raising for the organisation's proposed new headquarters building on the harbourside in Bristol. This contribution has enabled the Soil Association to take ownership of an enhanced publication that is far more substantial and arresting than available budgets would have otherwise allowed - and provided Emtone itself with the opportunity to also demonstrate its print expertise via the printing of a fabulous portfolio of the celebrated war photographer Don McCullin's landscape photography.

Emtone is especially focused towards environmental and conservation issues and will announce soon an exciting new project that we are to support in 2009.
