Howard Smith Paper Group Awards 02

Emtone is exceptionally proud to announce that projects printed for its clients have been recognised with six Awards in the Howard Smith Design & Print Awards 02. Moreover, this is more than any other UK printer has achieved in the same competition.

Over the past eighteen months, Emtone has instigated significant focus towards further improving the quality of its core production resources and as a direct consequence, this has delivered a noticeable advance in the profile of businesses who are increasingly choosing to place their work with us.

It's especially pleasing that such a spread of this work has now been recognised with Awards for the quality of both design and print demonstrated.

An exhibition monograph produced in both soft and hard-cover variants for the rock star and photographer Bryan Adams, the National Portrait Gallery, and project sponsor BlackBerry, has won two top Awards in the Publishing and Fine Art categories.

In addition, projects for the conservationist and philanthropist Paul Lister (and his Alladale Wilderness Reserve project), the Soil Association, the top London Nightclub Paper, and Bath's own The Royal High School, have also been recognised with Awards.

It would be a poor show indeed if we did not mention the agency that has designed every one of these Award winning projects and to this end, we would like to thank The English Group for their commitment to the relationship we enjoy - we are sure that they won't mind though when we suggest that we very much aim to win more Awards in other design competitions over coming months, and genuinely hope that other agencies and end-clients that we work with will be recognised with Awards for their work too.

Of course, we also wish to thank Howard Smith Paper and their Awards judges for their recognition of our commitment to quality print, and also for the support that they make available to us month, in month out.
